Welcome to Lyrical Journeys!
This site is my personal project in doing Japanese – English lyrics translation, and also in writing essays or opinion pieces in Japanese. Hence, the name of the site: Lyrical Journeys.
The focus of this site is two-pronged:
1) Under Lyrics, you’ll find translated lyrics of Aimer, and other Japanese artistes I like, or songs I find interesting. If you have requests for songs that you want me to translate, do drop me a message through the contact page.
2) Under Journeys, you’ll find some of my essays written in Japanese. This section will be updated less frequently, because I do not always have things interesting or inspiring enough to share. However, this site is still under development, and in the future, more things will be periodically updated. So, keep a look out! 🙂
As an Indonesian living in Singapore, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to travel and live in various parts of the world and I would like to connect the two worlds: the Japanese speaking, and the English speaking ones through music and languages.
